"The other day I was at work and ordered a tuna sandwich from Carmella’s on door dash. When I received the sandwich it had no mayo. The person that made it thought I ordered the Italian version but I ordered the American tuna with mayo. I called and Nick answered . He was so kind and sent a tuna with mayo sandwich over to me right away! I’ve since ordered other breakfast and lunch sandwiches and everything has been delicious. I’ll be a loyal customer after the great customer service Nick showed that day when I was hungry at work. Thanks!!!"

"Insane. Absolutely no notes. This place is amazing. The difference is that in a lot of other Italian delis if you order a chicken cutlet, it’s probably pre-cooked and has been sitting around. The first thing you see are Carmella’s is a huge container of marinated cutlets. They coat, season, and cook each of them to order. The difference is massive. Portions are massive and a large sub is an undertaking. The staff is super friendly. Just come here already. Picture is after a long drive home when the sumner was closed. If you have comments about the sog, keep them to yourself."

"I wanted to publicly thank Carmella's Market for a recent event they catered for a large party here in East Boston. We were having an event for approximately 60 people and I met with the owner Nick in advance to plan the menu. Ordering was very easy, and Nick and the Carmella's team even delivered to the event. They cut up all of the large "party" subs into small segments to make it easy for everyone to enjoy. Many people complimented the subs and everything was either eaten or taken home by our guests. Carmella's is a great local business that supports the community, its neighbors, and our veterans. Thank you very much Nick and the rest of your team at Carmella's for making our event a great one."

"Flew into Logan SUPER hungry, first time in the city. Had to find something for lunch. Settled on this place and was NOT disappointed! Delicious sandwich, amazing service, great price. Found a local park on the waterfront only 4 minutes away and sat down for a wonderful lunch!"

"Went to checkout a family member's market and ordered a meatball sub and 2 chicken parm. The meatball was amazing I ordered this for myself and my mom tried a piece and wanted to trade subs! Meatballs were flavorful and juicy, sauce(gray was just right). And I'm very picky about where I buy my food! The chicken parm was good as well, my brother got one as well and was very pleased! The large sub is worth the price! Definitely will be going back!"
