Reviews
"Pretty cool store with both new and used books, vinyl records, massive CDs and DVDs, plus games. Only downside is no restrooms available."
"Great staff, an awesome selection. Not many of these stores left! It's a nostalgic trip down memory lane. "CD shopping", do it while you can!"
"Honestly can't go wrong with an Employee owned store chain. However their prices have slipped from being so good it's the first place you check for something you want to just another regular retail place you hit if you remember to. Used prices are still okay if you find something in good condition. B+"
"My only really complaint is that they used to be open til midnight which was really convenient AND they seem to be putting more research into pricing now. Fair enough, but a couple years ago it was a fairly common occurrence to find an out-of-print and rare movie for a fraction of the prices they sell for online. Now they seem to price match ebay (and sometimes go above) which has decreased my desire browse here significantly. However, it is still a very cool store with product in movies, music and books that you really donโt see in other stores. The new stuff is still priced well. They offer better trade-in prices than big box places like Gamestop too, one of the benefits of them now researching prices is that whoever traded that movie in got paid more appropriately. Also very openly a safe space for anyone, which is greatly appreciated! Staff is usually pretty talkative and nice, always helpful. Worth noting I recently bought a new record that was warped, brought it back and was refunded no question. Their selection of boutique blurays (specifically horror) is what keeps me coming back."
"This store is AMAZING! I could have spent all night and all day here. I found an original recording one of of my favorite Cake CDs with my favorite versions of the songs, that's super rare and hard to find. It was like discovering list treasure! And the prices weren't bad at all. It was so much fun looking around and there is so much to see and find here!"
