"Worst and most expensive tax experience in 27 years of using a CPA. i was charged over $300 for our first meeting ( they bought out my CPA who was retiring) to get to know each other. They failed to include a retirement plan contribution and advised me to remind them to doan amendment.a year went by, nothing. Tax year 2021, had to remind them again about the amendment, had to send them proof i needed an amendment. ( i sent them copies of emails from them to me advising I need to do an amendment.) Then, after they researched the issue, they said i could not deduct the contribution because " i had no more deductions left to take." So, not only did we not amend our taxes for a legal contribution, they sent me a bill for over $800! I constantly had to resend documents, they kept shifting me to another CPA with in firm, i would be told i should hire someone to do my Quickbooks, but they dont do that, nor would they recommend anyone. When my payroll service had year end questions, thecfirm had no idea how to answer them, i was left on my own to figure them out. With all the sruff to get everything done the final bill of around $10,000. Triple what i normally pay. I think they bit off more than they could handle, creating kios all around. Granted, i am not the brightest when it comes to taxes and tax prep, but these folks made it even worse for me. I have found a much better CPA to work with in York, and have been very pleased. So much so, they will be doing my payroll and bookwork on a regular basis."

"For nearly twelve years I'm working with Ann Baily on tax preparation. She has helped me a lot with many complicated, tax-related issues. Over the years my situation was changing regularly and Ann helped me navigating through quite complex regulations and financial issues. She is prompt, straight forward and professional answering emails and calls with question. I will highly recommend Ann for any tax-related assignment."

"Just received a letter stating can not provide accounting services any longer. Only used last year because our accountant retired. Was told they would honor his billing amount . We were charged double. Dropped off taxes first of March and never got back till about October . This let us gain late fees and added expense. By dropping us they have done us a favor. Please beware of this company. We also had never paid as much in taxes in 40 years till we used them. We paid almost double."

"This is a zero star review (unfortunately I am not able to give 0). I had an identical experience to Kathy who has also left a review here. To call me experience with I&A bad would be a disservice to those reading this. Myself, family members, and friends have all had beyond terrible experiences here. Google tells me that an individual state/federal tax preparation should cost in the neighborhood of $220. My individual state/federal came back at over double this average (on 4/17/22 only 1 day before taxes were due). When asked for an itemized copy of the invoice (April of 2022) I never received one until today (12/9/22) of which $90 was unaccounted for and it was partially hand written. I did not end up filing this return with I&A and went elsewhere and paid ($150). This has easily been the worst customer experience I have had in recent memory. I would volunteer to get a healthy adult tooth pulled before dealing with them again. Go elsewhere."
