Standish House of Pizza

"*employees don’t wear gloves when preparing people’s food* I really don’t make reviews that often until I see it’s necessary. So I’m going to start off with their food quality. I can’t say their food is a the best, their pizza tastes decent but they can be soggy at times and they use heavy toppings so it’s a messy pizza to eat when the toppings and cheese come off in one sheet.. I’ve had their lasagna, probably one of the worst I’ve had, it was hidden in mostly sauce and the pasta was mush. My husband has gotten the steak and cheese sub, he said it really tastes like just ground beef, little flavor and no other ingredients like peppers/onions/or condiments. I usually only come for their salads. Watching the employees making other people’s orders through the to go window and seeing none of them wearing gloves grossed me out a bit… after Covid and everything it’s common sense to wear gloves. Some will argue that they are “supposed” to wash their hands frequently but no one can really confirm how often they wash their hands.. I know some people in the area that don’t mind their food so it’s really about how picky you are on how you want your food prepared."

"Its really good most times, the same sandwich can be chock full one week and half empty the next. Pizzas pretty consistent. Service is always great. But the prices just keep climbing. Probably a leftover of covid when people had to increase wages to get people to come back to work."

"Got a great pizza that was actually well done (a request that is often ignored or skipped over when I ask at other places) Super friendly and accommodating staff. Drive through option is convenient."

"Onion rings really good! Subs were decent, would be better if the cheese burger in the sub wasn't chopped up and the chicken in the parm sub wasn't chopped up.. The pizza was good! Also have a take out window. Overall it was pretty good."

"Customer service was good, the woman who took our groups order was very helpful and patient, considering there were four of us who had no clue what we wanted. In regards to the pizza, it was properly made and I don't have any complaints! I would definitely stop back in for a bite in the future."
