"I’m very unhappy with the service I got today at the all town gas station. I went inside to give the girl my $60 and asked to put my loyalty number in to receive my $.40 off. There was only one other person at the gas pump. So obviously they were watching me at the gas pump. I was pumping gas and I received a phone call. I went into my car to answer my phone. I was watching the gas pump in the car on the side mirror also watching how much was going in. I noticed that it stopped at $25.33. I went into the store to ask what happened and they said they stopped my pump. They said I was inside my car and I needed to be at the pump because of fire marshal law? If there’s a law why isn’t it written somewhere that I must stand while pumping my gas. I asked her to put the pump on so that I could continue to receive my $.40 off my $60 purchase. She said she couldn’t do that and that I’ve lost my points. All this conversation made me late to my job which was very upsetting to me and my client. I then had to call Shaws to get my points put back on my card. They said they would call and find out exactly what happened because it’s not the way that they want rewards customer treated at the gas station. As I said to the young ladies maybe you should’ve come out to let me know before you shut me off and made me lose my discount or better yet why don’t you have a sign up that says this. Also maybe you should think about taking off the little lever that stops me from having to stand there and watch my gas go in. I will not be visiting this station again."
