"My husband received a text message on April 5, 2022 that are taxes have been started. We weren't sure they would be able to get them done so late?? Over the next several months my husband called and stopped by the office multiple times without anyone being around to comment if our taxes were done. Fast forward to October and our taxes were finally completed. My husband asked if they had filed an extension and they said if course they had. Just received a letter from the IRS and we owe interest and penalties going back six months for $669.92."

"Rated 2 stars simply because I’m trying to give them the benefit of the doubt - like maybe they had a tough time this tax season for whatever reason. I’ve filed my taxes (very straightforward filing - single, no dependents, not a homeowner, etc.) via this company since 2019, and up until this year, the whole experience was great. They were quick, efficient & I was happy with my returns. This year I uploaded all my documents to their website (as I’ve done in the past, and as is encouraged on their website) in January. I had to get a revised W-2 from my job, but by mid March all my docs were uploaded. I called once approx 2 weeks after to check the status & was told they had everything they needed and were working on it. I called again 2 weeks after that (one week ago) and was told they were working on it at that precise moment & I should get the email with the return info for me to sign “if not today then tomorrow.” Fast forward another week & still nothing. And when I went to call the office today I got their answering machine informing me that their new office hours are Tues-Thurs 10a-2p. And obviously at this point I’m going to be filing late. Zero communication/transparency on their part."

"The Tax Company has caused us nothing but problems with the IRS. We had an appt in February to file our taxes. We paid Steve for services that never were completed. They didnt file the taxes and then claimed they filed an extension but failed to notify us or give a reason why. I called over 20 times a showed up several times n could never get ahold of anyone to help. It turns our they failed to file the taxes by the end of the extension also. Steve didn't file taxes until the very end of October and left us with penalties and interest and yet again is refusing to take my calls. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT PUT YOURSELF IN THE SAME BOAT!!"
