"During tax season they are extremely busy and try to rush you as fast as possible. They do a fast job which sometimes includes forgetting to include key documents. God help you if something needs to be changed, you are pretty much left hanging. You’ll keep calling and they won’t return your call because they simply want to get through as much files as possible. The goal is money money money not customer care or service."

"My husband went to do his taxes and wanted to file married filing separately they say NO it's a red flag to IRS you can only file jointly once you're married. They file them for him single. When he asks them again they told him since she doesn't have your last name yet it's ok to file single, and who does that? Where do they find those idiots who are giving bad advice to customers"

"Had a positive experience in the past, but in 2021 it seemed like they were so busy and had hired more people/ taking more clients. We had recently moved to Rhode island , so were new home owners and new parents and Global tax service said we owed the IRS like $1500 or something . We knew that wasn't right so we had a tax friend come by and using the same documents we showed Global, he found we were owed a few hundred, not much but we didn't owe $1500! Not everyone there knows what they are doing or are too busy now to look at all the details. Spring of 2021."

"Terrible service DO NOT TRUST THEM. My wife and I filed our taxes with Global. All we got was the run around and miss information. Upon dropping off our taxes we got told they would be ready in 3 days. We called in three days and they reported they had been very busy and hadn't had a chance to do them yet to call back in 2 more days. We called back two days later and the taxes had been completed. However there was a recent change to the tax code that would get us more money back and we could wait to file and get an addition sum of money. so we waited two more weeks. When asking the cost for the taxes we got quoted 200 dollars. After the two weeks went by we called back and where told that our taxes had been completed. my wife went to pick up the taxes and was told well it took us a really long time its going to be 300 dollars. However given the amount of work they put in we felt this price was still warranted.So she paid it. Fast forward a few days and I reviewed the documents they gave us to find out we hadn't been credited for the change in tax law. We called global and spoke to Derek who after pulling up our file said we didn't qualify because we made too much last year. My wife and I accepted his answer and hung up. Fast forward a few more days and I am trying to pay the tax bill to the state. I have the voucher they gave me and start filling out the information to find out I don't have an ID number. I call Global and speak to Bonnie to get the ID number thinking it just didn't get attached somehow. She proceeds's to tell me the only ID number would be a social number I inform her that is not working. She then says why don't you mail it in like everyone else I don't know what to tell you. I assure her I'm on the state website and it asks for an ID number. I go over the Global voucher and the state voucher line by line. Bonnie asks Derrick what an ID number is and Derrick says it should be at the top of the voucher. Bonnie proceeds's say she doesn't know what to tell me. So despite paying them a changing fee, and delaying my taxes for seemingly no reason I am no on my own to figure out how to pay my tax bill because they don't know what an I.D number is."
