"I’ve only lived in Paxton and visited this store for the past several months, but have been hearing about it and Carlos, the owner, for many years. From the postal services to the deli meats, his store has always provided what my mother needed, in a convenient location. His friendly, compassionate manner has been steadfast all these years, as anyone who visits the store would know."

"Went in there today to find out majority of the wine is expired. All the cakes and snacks are expired as well. The deli meats sit on a refrigerated cooler that does not cool them properly. The hot dog machine & the icee machine are never cleaned. Do yourself a favor & go to a real supermarket. This guy helps out people he likes and treats other people like they are hoodlums."

"Carlos will bend over backwards to help you in any way he can. The post office is particularly handy and never has a long line like USPS does. He works long hours to be of service to this community. I don’t go there often but each time I have, I have been happy. If you need just a few things it’s much easier than going to the big supermarket. Thank you Carlos!"

"Walked into the store with my coat and hoodie on ( because it’s the middle of winter and freezing) and the owner yells “ take your hoodie off” as if I was stealing from him. The owner Carlos, also gets a kick from ripping off broke college students... I went to buy 2 Games (each 99 cents) and he charged me an extra dollar for each. I’ve recently just tried calling again to complain about this but nobody has answered me."
