"You are losing me as a customer..I have had it with being told to bank online..everytime I want to talk to someone...it's bank online..I was told I shouldn't be afraid to bank online..who the heck said I was afraid? It's called NOT INTERESTED..today...I went in to do my banking..tellers are now only doing transactions for businesses..really? I guess my business is not important enough for you... I'm done!"
"Do not reccommend!! Customer service online and in person is horrible and can never resolve at branch. Check BBB for reviews... Plan for over 5+ hours to speak someone for activity on account on any given day not just this time due to fraud. A few years back, they allowed another business to cash 2 checks for my electric bill. Still to today, citizens manager Ann, says its not there fault that they allowed another business's to cash 2 checks. Ann stated "the bank doesn't look at checks to check if check actually went to addressee ". The checks were written out and mailed by the bank themselves so not an error on my end. 100% bank error and they still won't own their mistake. 2 weeks ago i notified them of a fraudulent charge that was pending. "They could not deny transactin and i had to wait for $ to come out of account before they would even take a fraud report". Went into branch and explained to the situation. Ann , branch manager could not help contact fraud for me for a fraudulent transaction. Ann reply " they can't do anything and they would need to call fraud the same as i would." After telling them I tried for 2.5 hours to get through, Ann response was " they were too busy short staffed and they can't wait on hold for that long that i would need to call." Went in today because my normal every month zello transfer was suspended. Again branch couldn't help and have wasted over half of my day and still can't get an answer on why. Also suspended any transfers from my checking account for no reason. I've been to 2 branches, did live chat and waited on hold 4+ hrs and still havent' talked with anyone to correct another issue with Bank. i started at 830a this morning and it's now624p and still havent found anyone to resolve or explain why. Ann's comment today that "she took care of the electric bill issue a few years back and she took hit for that money". Still not owning banking flaw and denied any accountability for their carelessness and incompetence as if I had anything to do with those checks. Ann claims I never talked to her about any recent issue aside from electric bill when i went in to close act. I withdraw all of funds except for the last pending bill, asked them to leave $446. in account to cover. Well math wasn't correct and account had negative balance. The pending payments were already deducted from account so they cant say that was issue for negative balance. Within 15min i noticed their error and added more funds to account to cover 1 check pending. I really hope they dont think i will be paying an overdraft fee for their math error. Surprise, surprise on hold for 48 min and got disconnect. Still on hold 653p, online chat can't help and need to talk with someone via phone and still can't speak to anyone. FINALLY, after 4.5hr on hold or being transfer to some other dept, being disconnected and called back and after 2hr15m I finally got someone who could actual fix an issue at 920pm. "Do not go to this location From the bottom to the top they are very unprofessional from the assistant manager to the supervisor to the vice president I had gone there to cash my shares, the assistant manager and including the vice president, and the supervisor suggested that I go to TD Bank and I have been with has been for over over 10 years I do not have an account with TD and have no association with them or another bank. The assistant manager had commented on my fiancé because I had broker with me. and had told my fiancé to shut up and be quiet. Also looked at me up from her chair and commented on how I put up with my fiancé. How is it that a financial advisor or a bank teller comments on your personal life when you are there to do business in business only when I had called to speak to a supervisor to comment on my experience I had with her assistant manager she was no better than the assistant manager and we’re talking about a supervisor that told me to shut up also over the phone I am speechless. I do know one thing I do know one thing I know that the customers always right and I do know that corporate would not appreciate this unprofessionalism. Hi by Hight authority bankers, unbelievable they should not be in such a high position they should be demoted immediat corporate should look into this immediately. I will be moving my banking elsewhere immediately. because I will not be treated or talk to you, in that kind of matter specially, when I’ve been banking with them for over 10 years, you would think they would have some leniency and respect for you after dedicating so many years with this bank so you would think so I decided maybe they were having a bad day so I decided to go to a location 672 Memorial Dr. when I had gone there I had met with Samuel the vice president from 33 from 33 Center St., Ludlow if anything, I had twice the worst experience that I had from East Longmeadow with with the assistant manager and supervisor, I had came to realization that all three banks, 470 N Main St East Longmeadow, MA 01028 United States —-And —-672 Memorial Dr Chicopee, MA 01020 United State and 33 Center St Ludlow, MA 01056 United States. All 3 locations are associated together same people that work at all three locations work together and have a personal vendetta against me. I will take Samuel. Advice. And move my banking. To TD bank"
"The tellers are ALWAYS pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. Jenn is amazing and spends time understanding what your needs are and proactively reaches out when opportunities present themselves to better serve your financial needs. As both a business and personal customer I couldn’t ask more from a branch and it’s employees before, during and after the pandemic. Really consider switching your accounts to Citizen Bank!"
