"Have been to this place for about 6 months and it’s an okay facility. Not the place for me for the price. People that frequent the place are disrespectful and rude, and almost makes you think of a planet fitness center with courts and pools. The staff is okay, but of them are extremely rude. I would pay 20 bucks to deal with people who frequent and staff here not the price they ask for. Anyone who is a young professional who is interested in health goals will find this place is not worth it."
"Kingsbury is a solid club. Locker rooms have recently been updated, gym equipment is great and the pickle ball/tennis and basketball courts are excellent and well kept. Pools are a bit dated but good for both lap swimmers and kids. The pool does get a bit crowded in the summer once the bubble is off, but great for families. The pool-side food options are pretty subpar quality-wise which is perplexing because the club has a restaurant on-site which is decent bar-food. Overall it’s a good club for the monthly fee for a family membership and the on-site child care is very convenient for those with young kids. All that said, a couple things would vastly improve the club and make it more on par with some of the similar clubs in the area (Dedham Health; Adirondack Club; BSC Wellesley, etc.). While the locker rooms were recently updated, the steam room and sauna in the men’s locker room seem to be regularly not functioning properly. The sauna for example fails to get above 100 degrees Fahrenheit and for the numerous health benefits of sauna it is recommended that saunas are heated to 150-190 degrees Fahrenheit. The other area clubs have their saunas functioning in that therapeutic temperature level, so if ownership would address and fix those issues that would be great for current and future prospective members. Also, Kingsbury does not have a hot tub unlike those other area clubs which is unfortunate and a deficit, particularly given they certainly have the space to accommodate one and it would vastly enhance the pool area and aquatic offerings."
"Went for the pickleball and the courts are great. They feel very soft on your feet not sure what coating they use but they are awesome. 15 bucks to come play if a member books a court for you. Place is noice."
"The place is great and always introducing innovative and fun events for members and families. Last night I participated in a new program "Summer Rides" where an experienced outdoor bicycling instructor took a group of us on a ride though the metro west suburbs. The ride was followed by a gathering in the Icehouse restaurant and bar where we all replenished expended carbohydrates. Way to go Kingsbury!!!"
"A good gym with all the machines you would need. Class selection is good but times can be tough to make. The pool is nice but I have not really used it much. Membership costs are high but it is a high end sports club."
