"Was fortunate to find this hidden gem to host a surprise birthday party recently. The decor & vibe are super cool & really set the tone for the best night out our guests have had in a while. Bill & his team could not have been more welcoming & helpful, making the event comfortable for all. Special shout out to Connor the sound guy for helping out a couple of amateur musicians by jumping in to play the drums while they jammed! Can’t wait to go back & catch a show!"
"Had the privilege and pleasure to see Kemp Harris and friends last night. Kemp and the Fallout Shelter are truly Boston area treasures. Highly recommend both."
"This hidden gem is the brain child of Bill Hurley who spent many years working at Atlantic records. It had it's humble beginnings in a small warehouse space and has grown to a 100 person capacity venue. But what hasn't changed is the list of local , regional and internationally touring artists who perform there. One night it is blues, then country, then hip-hop/jive/funk, and then an acoustic artist. You literally can buy a ticket to any show and have an enjoyable evening. Every day, another fan comes out of the shows saying, "please do not tell anyone about this place ... I don't want it to get too popular But please tell everyone!"
"Excellent night of jazz and Blues with Big Dez Sax Gordon and Wickes Lo Down. The house was rocking the venue is very unique and low key. Good popcorn also!"
"Best live music venue I've visited in a long time. Beers are pricey at $7 for a can of mic ultra. $60 tickets for 4 amazing musicians. Great value. Incredible acoustics. Lighting and live cameras. Free parking. I'll be back!"
