Dalton Club

"This beautifully preserved Georgian style building was constructed in 1746 and became the childhood home to an early Massachusetts Senator to the United State Senate, Tristram Dalton. As an added bonus, George Washington and the Marquis de Lafayette were entertained here. A metal informational sign outside the building briefly details its history."

"Located in Newburyport, Massachusetts, this is an Historically Amazing building! My Daughter in law to be had her Bridal Shower here and it was the best of both worlds! A modern day party with all of it's festivities in a building filled with a rich history from the 1700's! And who would have ever thought there is this exquisitely fun filled all time favorite game in it's basement, a bowling ally!? Also fitted with it's own incredible little history! This was one experience I will never forget! Special thanks goes out to Mark Gibbas, a member of the Dalton Club. I can't imagine having a better Bridal Shower party anywhere else!? Where else can one dive into a love for such a wonderful walk through the past and be filled with so much delightful fun!? Absolutely Awesome!"

"Historic private club, with at least three U.S. presidents previously visiting. Great place to hang out by the fire on a cold night with an old book, or to play candle pin bowling in the basement."
