Moped Man

"Overall, this is an awesome way to get around the island. It was loads of fun. However, the moped was underpowered, the speedometer was broken, and the gas gauge was nonfunctional."

"Super quick and easy process! Showed up to rent a moped with no reservations and there were so many available for a reasonable price (~$118/day with gas and tax). They teach you how to drive but my husband has a motorcycle so we were on the road within 10-15 minutes of showing up. They were flexible about return times as well which was appreciated. We were able to tour everything we wanted to on the entire island multiple times in the day and hardly used any gas."

"Bike Rental - Experience started off fine with counter staff having a quick rental process and person who fit us to our bikes being helpful. Upon our departure we were told to contact them should we have any problems. Upon being close to the northern side of the island, the chain came off of one the the bikes. When we tried to call, the phone number on the contract, on the bike, and given to us was NO LONGER IN SERVICE! It was a very long walk to return the bike. Upon telling the counter staff of us not being able to reach them, they blankly stared at us and gave no apology. They said cell phone service was down on the island...which was baloney as I phoned my daughter who peddled back to them for assistance! They offered no assistance and told her that she could bring a bike back to me (How does that make sense?) Needless to say the customer service in the end was the deal breaker...renter beware!!!"
