"Very nice, and feels upscale. Very open concept, but the atmosphere is very calm. We had tacos and churros for dessert.. The food was delicious and served quickly. Saw a taco salad go by our table and will try to tackle that bad boy next time. They asked right at the start if we had any allergies and were very sure to check. Very Nice touch. Hostess came over to make sure we were enjoying our meals. This is stepped up version of typical cantina style meals. Well prepared and great service."
"Our waitress had such a great attitude that it made the experience so pleasant. Food was excellent and flavorful. Presentation was 5/5 appealing. Ambience great for night with friends and family."
"Overall, our first time at Toro Cantina was an enjoyable experience. We were escorted to our table quickly, given menus and got a highchair. It took a few minutes to get our server assigned, then menu items were explained in detail. When my Toro Old Fashioned arrived, it was a huge $15 ice cube that filled the entire glass leaving little room for the Four Roses Bourbon. That’s when the annoying light on one side of the booth came into play. It that made conversations with the person seated in front of it difficult. Both of our entrees; Surf and Turf Burrote and Plancha Fired Skirt Steak Carne Asada and Chicken Fajitas, were enjoyable and had a full compliment of supporting sides. The Cheesecake Flan was a delicious custard sampled by all. My next trip to Toro I'll have beer and no booth."
"Nice upmarket place to get Mexican food. The atmosphere is modern and chic and the food is good. They start you off with chips and salsa. We had a taquito appetizer which was very good. I had the chicken fajitas which were ok. The chicken was a little bland. The service is good but it was busy. This is a good place to go with friends. Having so many TVs around the restaurant was an interesting choice. They also have a nice outdoor patio if you want to eat outside."
