H&R Block

"I walked here and it doesn't list online weather it's open or not. It's Friday at 9:40 why would they be closed and on there door the hours of operation are not listed. The nieghboring business owner says they open at 10:00 that crazy that it's not listed"

"I worked with a rep here who suggested that I wave certain penalties and fees last year (2021) related to health insurance. After doing so, I was penalized and asked to pay almost $2k to the MA dept of revenue. I have reached out multiple times to this branch and they said that rep would call me back by EOD. never happened. I reached out 3 times without any assistance. My "professional" led me in the wrong direction and didnt have the decency to call me back and resolve the issue. Wont be using HR block again, especially at this location in southie"

"I had a great experience today at H&R Block. Stevenson Dorce was my tax preparer,he was awesome. Very professional,explained everything,such a friendly guy who really enjoys his profession.. I thought the fee was quite reasonable. IMO he is an asset to the company. I’ll be back next year."

"The cost of my return was not what I expected. I was never given an accurate cost estimate until after I had completed the Tax Return. It was extremely expensive and I will submit my Tax Return on Turbo Tax next year. I also did not like that I had to write multiple messages to get a phone/video consult. I received 2 calls but never felt like I went through my Tax Return to really understand it. I never got any questions so everything fell on me to tell HR block about my potential deductions (e.g., my wife's a teacher and took a lot of classes last year)."

"Mohamed was absolutely great and made my experience so easy and seamless. Prior to that the initial tax accountant had been silent and I was worried but he took over, was extremely helpful and communicative and answered any questions I had."
