"I had an awesome experience at the h and r block office at Westgate mall in brockton, ma. I already have an appointment for next year."

"Terrible customer service and client management. Appointment was canceled 5 min after scheduled time and a walk-in was helped before us and sent to last available agent. We waited over an hour after being told the agent should have time for us soon. In the end, we talked with multiple agents who could not answer our question and had to schedule another appointment with a different branch. Should not be this hard to honor / manage appointments; simply asking the walk-in to wait a few min to make sure all appointments were set up before giving away a spot (as we were right at the hour mark) would have been much more appropriate. Also disappointing that tax advisors at this location could not answer a tax question — the second branch was able to resolve our issue almost immediately."

"They took me right away and were very thorough. The whole experience was fine. My only complaint is they said the fee would come out of my federal refund and this was a lie. I needed the state for a specific bill and they took the fee out of it. Not sure I will go there next year."

"Maybe one of the most unprofessional experiences I've had in my life. I dropped my taxes off, filled out the paperwork and was told they would be done the following day. The following day came, and I tried calling about 4 or 5 times from work to make sure they were done, the phone kept going straight to voice-mail. When I arrived after work they asked who I was like they had never seen me before(I was there about 22 hours before). Anyway, they couldn't find my paperwork, and asked me if I could have dropped it off at a different location, which is pretty insulting. They argued for a while about who actually grabbed my paperwork right in front of me, and it took 3 employees over an hour to find my taxes, which still weren't done even though they told me they were. If this is how you handle peoples sensitive information you should not be in business. I was there for over 2 hours for something that was supposed to be done already, and worked a 10 hour shift that day. Sitting at your store and listen to employees argue was not my plans after work. I also was offered no discount and had to pay full price.... It's now a few days later, and I asked to send in a paper return and they filed electronically. My federal was rejected and I now have to drive to a different office on my 1 day off to get what I asked for done right. I cant believe I paid for this, its inexcusable!!!"
