"The client intake process is an absolute abortion. I had a meeting with my accountant on a Friday ; they called 20 minutes before the meeting to reschedule to Saturday. Okay fine. Saturday rolls around, Accountant is a no-show for the video call. Call the office "Oh he's sick" - which, hey, fine i get it, but maybe call the client and reschedule... like we did on Friday? Reschedule for the following Wednesday after explaining my issue to another accountant and was told "you should continue working with the person you were working with". Wednesday Rolls around: no show again. I call the office "He's out sick". I'm now going to be out several thousand dollars so i avoid delinquency on a tax issue which all but assures i will never get that money back because H&R Block can't figure out how to notify clients when their contractors are out of the office."

"I will never use H&R Block again. The West Warwick, RI office has single handedly destroyed any confidence I would have had in these "tax professionals". My taxes were not filed on time, and according to the State of RI they weren't filed AT ALL. I am beyond livid. Stay away from H&R Block if you want your taxes done right or at all, for that matter."

"At the time, it seemed all was well back during filing. That is not the case. The preparer messed up the RI tax return and now will not support with additional help The branch is closed and called Warwick Mall. We paid additionally FUNDS AT TIME OF TAXES TO HAVE support with any issues. Due to their incompetence, we are now looking at issues. If you are a military member or work in MA and live in RI, find other resources. We have had our taxes done at H&R block since 2014. Not sure we will be back. Also, no support for customer service."

"Absolutely unprofessional. Waisted my time after telling me my taxes would get done in a day or 2 after I dropped it off. 2 weeks later they still never started it. Went to TurboTax instead. TurboTax was very easy and I saved a lot of money"
