"Husband went to get his taxes done here, he owes for state. It wasn’t explained clearly to him that he needs to pay the state directly. So unfortunately he has been paying the IRS, so now we have to figured out how to get his money back from the IRS since he doesn’t owe them he owes state. The person he dealt with should have been more helpful and explained things better rather than just handing him a paper saying “goodluck”. I told him he should have learned after the first year of going here and them being terrible… shame"

"This is my second year and as far as the service received, it was great. I had the same Tax Pro as last year which was a plus. There were some issues with the website that even my computer professional husband could not comprehend, but after a few days, although it was not solved, everything was RE-esolved and returns were filed. It was all done remotely; I scanned all the documents and uploaded them, quite easy to do and after that you communicate via phone or their portal. Easy-peasy and if it had not been for the website issue, I would have given them a 5. You can go to an office if that's better for you, I chose not to. My taxes as not hugely complicated but I am sure that doesn't make any difference. It took a load of my mind to have someone else doing it. Worth every penny!"

"Do not do business with H&R Block. Go to a local, non-chain tax preparer instead. In march I filed my taxes with them and was told a few days later it was rejected bc of a missing form...a form that was included in the packet of paperwork I handed to my tax preparer but was overlooked. This wouldn't have been much of a problem but they refused to waive the $35 fee to re-file for a mistake on their end. I had to re-file on my own and had to pay an additional $400+ in taxes so who even knows if I did them right. If only I could pay someone to do them for me...oh wait. After I informed them I'd re-filed on my own so no I would not be coming in to re-file and pay the fee THEN the manager said they would waive it. Empty gesture. What good does that do me after the fact and after the tax deadline? $125 WASTED! This is not the first problem Ive had with them but it will certainly be the last bc I will never do business with them again."

"Jane Fanjoy is excellent. She asked questions to make sure that she was properly doing the taxes as they were a bit different from last year, which I would never have figured out on my own. Was very happy to get a refund - again - and she answered all my questions, although there was only one or two I had. Would definitely recommend Jane and that location to friends and family."
