"Useless beyond comparison. Went to Charlie Sapochetti in early 2020 to file my wife and I's 2019 taxes, as recent immigrants to the US we wanted a professional to do our taxes so they were done properly. We would have been better off burying them in warm compost. Charlie briefly checked my Employment documents then filed the wrong form (a 1040 instead of 1040NR) with the wrong filing status. When we realised his mistake he tried to string us along then after being threatened with us contacting the Better Business Bureau he filed a 1040X to amend, but didn't send an amended return with the form. We finally heard back (almost a full year later) regarding the 1040X and now he claims not to have the forms needed to file our taxes correctly, despite them being readily available on the IRS website. If you enjoy stress, ask for his help, otherwise avoid at all cost."

"Richard James is very good at this work, and can work out complicated situations easily. Service is very affordable. The reason I'm giving 4 stars rather than 5 is that communication is sometimes inconsistent - like, they may just forget to call you back. Some emails get a quick response, but some do not. So you need to be mindful to take initiative and call them to check on status or give new information, but if you do that, you'll get a great value and taxes done correctly and find problems or savings you may not have found otherwise."
