"I did not know there was new ownership until I read reviews this morning, but when I opened up my turkey gravy on Thanksgiving morning I knew right away that something was wrong. It used to be full of turkey bits and smelled wonderful and it had absolutely no smell and no taste and no turkey bits. I think they just poured in some kind of jarred turkey gravy or made it with just starch and muck and charged over $10. Very sad."

"Ferretti's under new ownership and in need much improvement! The two sandwiched ordered were just tasteless. I never had a Reuben sandwich that was not heated, before now. The second sandwich - turkey w gravey and cranberry was equally bland! This use to be a favorite stop after a ride on the bike rail trail. Not any more!"

"I have loved Ferretis for years… convenient as Brewster has no large grocery stores. Although a little more pricey, worth it. Ownership changed this year so the verdict was out. I have continued to shop there hoping the standards would be maintained. After my visit yesterday, the verdict is in! I WILL NEVER SET FOOT IN FERRETIS AGAIN. At 5:00 pm they were out of angus burgers (a staple). I asked if they could make some patties with the angus beef they did have, and I was told “no, I can’t do that”. The boxed lettuce that is $3.99 at Stop and Shop is now $4.99. I asked about the 20% price increase and was told “price change, same as big stores”. Untrue. Prices have increased on many items, beyond what is reasonable. The cleanliness of the store both inside and out has deteriorated! Floors strewn with who knows what, and cardboard boxes stacked on floor in tiny vegetable section, creating a hazard. The broccoli was limp. Flying insects were all over some of the produce. Cashiers often not paying attention and unwelcoming. On several occasions I have found bread isle almost empty and can often no longer find Organic milk. When I ask I am told “delivery late”. Zero customer service. Very sad day for Brewster!!"
