"I stopped in here while visiting the area to grab a snack and a drink. The inside was really cute and filled with everything from local goods to standard brand name candy bars. Everything was well priced and clean inside. The cashier was also so friendly and quick to offer help if needed"

"The MGS was recently restored and reopened May 11, 2019! This beautiful store is not to be missed. They now accept credit cards and have free WiFi. There is a new classic seating area if you wish to grab a sandwich or hot dog and sit and relax. The new bakery table is from the 1800’s and is home to Jim’s Organic Coffee, baked goods and bagels. This store have a full butcher and deli area, produce, cheese, wine, beer & spirits section. They also have a small pharmaceutical section, toys, home goods and cleaning supplies. Jack the Owner and butcher is always willing to go the extra mile for his customers. Please stop by and check it out!"

"It seems the store is pushing their "breakfast & lunch" menus. They have a new board outside listing their choices. I am glad to see some imrovements in the mainstay of the downtown. It is a great place to find unusual items or to have a quick cup of coffee and a muffin."

"Great place for the quick grocery need without the drive to Wareham or Fairhaven - quite a large selection of products, produce and meats - some great filet mignons cut to order by Jack are usually the best of our summer grill dinners and all hamburger is made fresh to order. General wine selection and good variety of cheeses, breads and some frozen items as well. Prices are a bit higher than normal on some items but worth it for the convenience and great customer service."
