"Going Bananas is a lovely neighborhood market. The staff is incredibly friendly and I know I can always get something fresh in a pinch. They have good produce, lots of beverage options, and a solid array of standard dry goods, including baking supplies and party snacks. The prices are a bit higher since it's a boutique grocer, but I'd pay the same price at Star Market down the street, and I'd rather support my local shop."

"They did not want to sell me prosciutto because I arrived 10 minutes before they would close. I would suggest to close 10 minutes earlier then! Terrible service, I would recommend going to Monica’s for great prosciutto as « going bananas » does not want to sell to their clients!"

"They are unreliable. If you're new to the neighborhood, be mindful that their hours are inconsistent. They say they close at 9:00 PM but sometimes they close near 8:00 PM without advance notice. This can be a real pain if you need something in a pinch."
