"A lot of people complain about the Stop & Shop on Blue Hill Ave but at the end of the day, one thing I will say, is the managers do help you, the food is fresh and the store is clean. I think they try their best and just need more positive feedback and support! I think people how hard it is to manage some of these places"

"This is one of the worst stop and shops to go to in Boston. It’s unfortunate because it’s in a predominantly black neighborhood and it seems intentional from a corporate standpoint. This stop and shop is lacking in every way and it’s not the cashiers or regular workers fault. I blame management! Where do we begin; -there is no pharmacy which there should be, because other locations come equipped because they want to see their communities practicing health and wellness. -the makeshift bakery is there just to say they have one, it doesn’t function like any of the other locations. There is no cake book to preorder from, they don’t decorate cakes there, they close the bakery early, there is no online ordering option, the people at the bakery don’t speak nor understand English fluently which is a communication issue and inconvenience when you’re in a rush, you have to wait for the manager to come (which they’re helpful but it takes time to get their attention so they can assist the situation, and shouldn’t have to it’s counterproductive to the “stop and shop” motto… it’s not supposed to be some long hours long drawn out thing, especially for small items like a cake). -the registers/lines are always long and all lanes are never open, even major holidays … which means they need HELP and probably should have hiring events at all the local middle & high schools around the area… IF they cared to improve things (be proactive so we can have better service). Customers shouldn’t have to travel to “the good stop and shop” in further out towns away from Boston, and young upcoming workers shouldn’t have to travel far for work because they don’t know there’s a need for young workers. Someone from stop and shop team needs figure out a way to bridge the gap. -they need to restock more frequently, certain items are always gone (ocean spray juice different & new flavors … very popular in black community!!!!!) -better Fresh produce -the need to have a better selection of flowers and cards and someone who’s there to HELP with balloons etc. shouldn’t have to search around for help. -they need a seasonal isle where people can grab seasonal knickknacks etc, like all the other stop and shops. We deserve BETTER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The overall service by the cashiers , cart attendants , bakery people is nice and I appreciate their efforts, but they can only do so much with what they’ve been given."

"Why is this stop & shop in such rough shape? Place doesn't feel like a stop & shop, shelves always look empty even prior to pandemic, poor lighting, place looks like it needs improvement like the store itself not the employees. Place feels abandoned & huge difference from the one in South Bay which is 10min away."
