"I visit this stop n shop along with many other locations on a regular basis. I can basically walk through the store with my eyes closed I do it so often I'm on autopilot. The staff is friendly and courteous my only problem is the bottle n can redemption. It's cause the machines need tending to n trying to get somebody to fix it can be problematic at times."

"I find it appalling that you are transferring costs of your renovations onto customers. It's such a bad experience to be charged 10 cents for a paper bag. Don't try to claim that you are helping the environment by charging people money for your bags with your logos on them. The pricing at your store is sad especially when we've been suffering with inflation. I bought oatmeal for $8! I just bought a bag of Fritos a small bag for $5.69! A traditional 24 pack of Poland spring water $7.99! What exactly will keep me ever returning to stop & shop with this business model? What changes in district management or regional management have occurred that has led to these decisions? You will never ever be able to compete with Market basket when your items are on average a $1.50 to $2 more expensive. I suppose I shouldn't be giving you such valuable feedback after the price gouging that you guys do. Because quite frankly I feel offended. Even the cashier who was very friendly, told me that she doesn't blame me for canceling a $6 bag of fritos. An affordable family-friendly grocery store that stop & shop used to be, is no longer!"

"I have been using the shop on line pickup at store service since the pandemic started. Time slots for pick up are great, the employees lugging the groceries to my car are always friendly and willing to put them car. But that’s where any good rating stops! Their prices are the highest in the area for most items, the produce is not the freshest same with the deli . The few times I have gone inside the store it’s usually not clean , not well lit, and employees at checkout have no idea what a smile is. The quality of service has gone way down hill in the last couple years . Now when they bring out your groceries the employee just stands there doing nothing while you load your car. At first the bags were full to the point of ripping now since they started charging .10/bag not only have the prices increased but now the bags have one or two items per bag. My last pick up they used 6 bags when easily everything would have fit into 2-3 bags at most. I was seriously tempted to rebag them and try to get a refund. Yeah it’s only a minimal 10 cents a bag but take the over use multiplied by 100s of customers everyday it adds up fast. What’s next - charging a fee for using a carriage? Or a fee for the privilege of giving them your business? Stop n Shop needs to do better!!"

"If I could give this place no stars for the absolutely appalling store management here I would. I usually stop at the deli a few times a week regularly and it always appears that the employees that are serving customers at the counter are always struggling because there are only 1 or 2 people on at a time. Meanwhile on the other side of the deli the Asian man which I assume cooks the food and a younger looking girl with glasses just engage in chit chat and don't help the poor workers on the counter with the customers. Everyone that works on counter over there is great, but I think help should be given I'd there are huge crowds of people waiting to be served. The store management needs to be replaced or retrained because while shopping I have heard upper management talk down to and berate the employees that are trying their best."

"Stop and shop has been here for ever! And for a good reason, the prices are decent and they have a good selection of options. Clean well organized store. The bakery section is absolutely great, the make custom cakes for you with a little advance notice. They also have a florist and pharmacy."
