"The store is bright and clean. Most of the prices are very high but keep an eye out for the sales. Tara who works behind the fish counter is an incredible employer. She is friendly, engaging and beyond helpful."

"Seemingly more expensive for the same stuff I can find cheaper down the road at Market Basket. Not only that but found price tags do not match the items they are for, and the employee seemed pretty uncaring of the problem and offered no solution. The only thing this place has going for it is convenience, but even then there are almost always over 50% of checkout lanes closed at any given time."

"I have not shopped in a Stop&Shop since they closed the store at the Loop (Methuen, MA). I was disappointed this trip. Their fresh salad mix looked like it had been on the shelf for quite a while. An employee standing next to me saw me looking at the packages and never asked if I needed help. The other types of lettuce were much higher in price than I expected. The meat counter was very low on the varieties offered. The only meat, steak, that had a good selection was because it was on sale. At this point, I left the store and did my grocery order somewhere else. I'll try the store again, but this trip it was not the good old Stop &Shop I expected."

"Manager, pictured below, refused to provide necessary and required proof of return necessary for completing a transaction. Wouldn’t have posted the picture had he not refused to give me his name. You owe me $50, manager with a face that I cannot possibly describe politely. If you have any more direct avenues of communication, I'd be glad to tell you what happened."

"I have been a loyal customer for years. Their prices are through the ROOF and they never have enough cashiers. Now they are pulling the plug on bags again. It's time to switch to Market Basket until ownership realizes that most people shop there out of convenience and not for value or service. THUMBS DOWN"
