"Small Japanese grocery store carrying a little bit of everything. Most things are labeled in English, and the staff members are helpful if you need to ask a question. Great sushi."
"this place is equally tight and definitely smaller than the Brookline branch, but got all the basics: limited selections of fresh produce/meat, frozen items, sushi/pre-packaged fresh food, snacks, and dried goods. ready-to-eat section has enough variety to choose from, sashimi quality is excellent. price is expectedly high given we're in a pandemic; just happy we even have the supply. that said, $16 for couple spoonfuls of ikura (salmon roes)... it's hard to justify when a full-size noodle/rice bowl costs less. would rather that they split the portion in half so i don't feel as bad dropping just $8 even if for only one morsel. same with the uni - the entire slab is $200!!!!! do people come here and grab the entire tray on a random Tuesday?? seriously wish that they had smaller portions at $20-40 range... unless they were sold out by lunch time. all in all, still gonna return next time craving hits, especially that HMart in Burlington seems to not carry sashimi these day (that day? - I drove 20 minutes over for this as a result.) parking is surely a great plus, with a small lot on the side of the shop. can't say how weekend traffic is like given it's right at the bustling town center, but going there during off hours, there were readily available spots on street and in lot, which definitely makes shopping there a lot more easier."
"Hands down one of the coolest places in Brookline for buying delicious snacks, lunch, bakery, and exciting drinks. They literally have everything and they are centrally located in Coolidge Corner with great access to public transportation. I highly suggest trying their bakeries and lunch packs. The checkout line is very quick and they accept Apple Pay. The store is very well-maintained, new, and clean."
"Great experiences on the few times I’ve visited. They offer very authentic Japanese grocery and take out bento foods. The price is definitely a bit more than what you can find in larger chain groceries but they really have some special items that I can’t find in other Asian supermarkets. The food i bought are always super delicious and freshly made. It’s a decent size market albeit a little smaller than their original Brookline location but definitely so much easier to park here as they have a parking lot by the side and much easier to get to by car. I’d highly recommend this place for some delicious Japanese take out foods."
"So happy to have a real Japanese grocery store in Arlington. It was clean and I felt safe with their covid protocols. Cabbage pancake thingie was surprisingly tasty and filling. My entire family is now in love with their ramen. Both wavy ramen noodle and soup was so good!"
