"Awful. I live nearby so really want this to be better, but after 2 years of going back it's only gotten worse somehow? The produce is terrible--literally every time I need to check to make sure I'm not picking up something with mold. I came here 4 days ago and their produce has not been turned around since. They're intermittently out of beyond and impossible and other random products, with no rhyme or reason--hit or miss. You won't get everything on your grocery list each time, guaranteed. Sunday midmorning rush they have 1 cash register open. Worst of all their front manager is a jerk, complaining about her employees and fellow managers in front of customers. Always glaring at people and never saying a word, unless some unpleasant remark. No wonder Market Basket down the road is popping off at all hours. I have wanted to support my local town but I'm done here, and encourage others to be too."

"I am a former employee at this Shaws. Worked here March 2017 till the beginning of 2018 before I got transferred to Peabody. Everyone at this store were very friendly, helpful and easy to get along with. I loved my job at this location and I loved my coworkers."

"Update: I’ve been shopping here for 16 years. The customer service just gets worse and worse. On my last trip, the person who checked me out made no move to bag my groceries, nor did any of the other employees around. I stood at the end and bagged over $200 in groceries. The clerk finished checking me out and still did not bag anything. A supervisor caught my irritated expression, came over, and started arguing with the clerk about the length of their break while I continued to bag all of my groceries and neither made any move to assist. I’m done shopping here. Old review: The store is fine. Lots of empty shelves these days. I'm not a fan of the new set up. More importantly, on my last two trips I've been forced to give a review to the cashier before I can check out. I'm not sure what use it is to gather 10/10 scores from people who don't want to be rude and just want to check out, but it's certainly going to make me want to use the self checkout even for large shopping trips."

"Ordered deli platters. At pick up, I was informed that they didn't have the buns, so instead they used larger bulky rolls. I was thrilled, except for the fact that when I got home I realized the contents of the sandwich were not proportionate to the size of the bun. So all my guests had these large bulky rolls with half a piece of lettuce and one piece of deli meat and cheese. Additionally, two of the platters contained stale buns and the majority of the lettuce leaves were already decaying (soggy, slimy) I submitted a refund request and it was rejected. I called and was told it needs to be appealed."

"Smaller of the Shaws stores, but I was inside looking for valentines day flowers, balloons, goodies for my family. Found something for my nephew, my mom, the woman were very helpful!!"
