"Great people and has a lot in store that you normally can’t find"
"Scott knows everything automotive. If they don't have a part, they can often get it same day. Responses to some criticisms in other reviews: Maybe prices aren't always better than what you see online. But you can buy online for whatever price and pick up in store. However, as a repeat customer, they always take care of me. Additionally, the parts they sell are generally better than the stuff you get at AutoZone, etc. Some lines they won't even sell. It isn't a corporate store. Pricing isn't always the same. That works to your advantage too. Sometimes things are cheaper. And they can get things from vendors outside of NAPA. You also get a huge knowledge base and can ask questions. This is priceless. Someone also complained about not being able to return something they already installed and without a receipt. That's typically how it works with most mechanical and electrical things. Why should they take back parts that you installed but then didn't need. That's diagnosing problems on their dime using parts they have to sell used. Don't buy parts you don't need."

"Had my mom's car for a few hours and decided to replace her windshield wipers with some better ones. I walked in and grabbed the book to look up what ones she would need and the attendant behind the counter advised me that the book was at a date. He was extremely kind and looked up exactly what I needed. I grabbed the Rain-X wipers and went to check out. He offered to put them on at no extra cost and even took the old ones away to dispose of. The transaction was complete within about 5 minutes and my mom has brand new windshield wipers. Extremely delightful experience. Definitely will come back here again"
"Had a horrible customer service experience here. Bought a gas cap for my SUV that I was assured was a “fit”. It screwed in Ok, but after a few days the check engine light came on indicating it didn’t quite fit right. Box had been tossed but I figured they’d at least offer a credit. Day 1 - arrived without receipt (my bad) and guy says “ah, my boss… I at-least need the receipt…”. Day 2: two guys behind counter, one from before and his boss. ‘Boss’ says “sorry, can’t help ya… owner not here… havta come back…” I got a little smart and suggested that between the two of them they oughta be able to make a $20 mgt decision… to which the boss says “I could lose my job…” So, what kind of local business owner promotes this kind of experience? Not surprised to see other posts about getting price gouged here. This is not your friendly local auto parts store. I had a bunch of other things to pick up in prep for winter, but I’m going back to the guys in Salisbury."
