"I came here with my fiance for a fun date night and we really enjoyed ourselves. Lucia feels fancy and a bit catered to a tourist feeling environment, but it nails it. Even though we pick up on some tourist vibes, we would definitely come back here again. The food was delicious and the staff were nice. Back to the food though, chicken parm was the largest and one of the best I've ever had. My fiance and a chicken carbonara and oh my - it was so so good. We split an Italian almond cake for dessert and paired that with their finely made cappuccinos. A perfect end! Would recommend to any and all my friends."
"It’s a bummer writing this review because Lucia has been my go-to spot for almost a decade in the North End. Right in the heart of Hanover Street, the restaurant is surrounded by fantastic atmosphere. This is exactly the kind of spot you want to be to experience the North End. Wonderful, quaint atmosphere inside. Three floors of seating, with a great bar in the basement. A mixture of Italian classics and some modern twists, the food was always plentiful and delicious. Unfortunately, since COVID, there has been a noticeable decline in both the quality of food and service. We’ve come five or six times in the last year wanting it to be better, but unfortunately it has lost its appeal for us, especially with so many other great options just a quick walk away. I sincerely hope things change at this restaurant because it has always been such a great place to have a meal with friends and family."
"We had a great dinner at Lucia Ristorante. We had a group of seven, including two kids. The staff was very friendly answering questions about the menu and making suggestions. They brought out fresh baked bread to start the dinner. We ordered a variety of pastas and entrees and everyone loved their food. There was no kids menu but they made smaller plates of spaghetti for them which was perfect. Great place for authentic and homemade Italian in Boston."
"This place is great! Authentic Italian at its best! I had the Gnocchi Spezzatini and it was phenomenal. Couldn't even take a picture of it because I ate it so fast. Definitely a must go if you are at the North End."
