"Great food, but even better people! Our waitress was so chill and was running around the restaurant during Sunday lunch working every position at the front of the house. We sat at the bar and she was our bartender, then waitress and even maître d’ when we arrived. I’m yelp elite and was able to get a free item, so I got there fig pizza. $19 normally. Their pizzas were larger than I anticipated, the door was very good and I love the prosciutto they gave because it wasn’t very thin. They gave a lot of it too. My mom had an email from them for a free app, so we got my favorite appetizer which is Arancini. ($12) They were fried to perfection, but the inside was different than I’m used to because the rice was more mushy and congealed rather than having a little bite to the inside. But still very good. However, my favorite thing we got was their Sophia sandwich (like an eggplant parm). ($13) The ciabatta bread was so airy and incredible. I loved the vodka sauce for a change instead of marinara and the eggplant was very tender. Artichoke hearts or a nice touch too. This was my first time here and I was very pleased. Even if I paid full price for everything, it still wouldn’t have been a good value. Very relaxed atmosphere and I can’t wait to come back to try some drinks and more food. Thank you Yelp, and Bettola!"
"So I ordered the GoodFella sandwich; the Smore What Mocktail and the Funfetti Cake. For the likely $40+ this meal runs Gordon Ramsey would shut this place down. Service available was not allowable for the wait… arrived in a low service period at 3:40; got seated at 3:46; and first waitstaff at 3:52. Ordered at 3:59. By 4:03 I had my food. The mocktail was weak/waterdown and overall blah for 14 The confetti cake was dry… like either 3 days old from a container and stale. Certainly a Palmolive sponge was moister and had more flavor The GoodFella was by far the worst form of a steak sandwich I’ve had. Was soggy and almost cool at eating. If I had to come back; I’d go back to the future as that was the most useful part of my day, the placemat, had one true add, and that add was obscurely placed inside comical placeholders. definitely not gonna return overall. Sorry but I’m not sorry; the overall environment for a first timer was far below what I was lead to believe for family."
"I've been to Bettola several times, and I feel like each time, the quality keeps going down. We came today to utilize the RI food fight pizza offer, and the requirement was that it was dine in only. We ordered a salad, pizza, and mocktail to dine in, and a cake slice to go. The salad was fine; pizza was overdone where the crust got too hard; the mocktail was good; the cake slice was not very good and tasted like a cheap very sweet hostess cake. At $10 a slice for a regular size slice of cake I would think it should be amazing! Prices for the dessert are not posted, and it feels a bit sneaky as a customer. Would not return."
"Tried Bettola for the first time on a rainy Friday afternoon. And I'll just say that the people of Cranston have a gem in their back hard. Shame on you if you haven't tried it. I'm usually skeptical when I see a best of anywhere sign. Today they lived up to the claim. Sat at the bar and Caitlin was my server. Started with an Alligash. Had the garlic parmesean wings, which are wet and come with a tasty dipping sauce. Thought they were cooked well. Would have preferred a dry rub. For the pizza, I had them build one. Red Sauce, Mozzarella, sausage, pepperoni and bacon. First bite and immediate feedback was fantastic. Good amount of toppings, cooked to perfection. Their oven is an amazing rotating masterpiece from Italy. Very good overall tasting. Very little grease for a meat lovers. Sauce was great, could taste san marzano tomatoes or dang close. Crust had a great crunch along the edges and flavorful. Very little flop. Unbelievable undercarriage. As usual, I always add some parmesean and red flakes to kick it up a notch. Ran the numbers on my scoring system and the pizza gets a Google 5, 8.5 out of ten on the scale."
"The shrimp pasta and wine pasta were amazing and just perfect. The pizza was pretty good, although wouldn't say the best in the state. Everything was nice and clean and the bathrooms were prestine!"
