"Food, drinks and atmosphere were great. The service was good, but a bit slow at times without seeing our server for 15-20 min sometimes. Also, the six of us were there for a post-work dinner and needed separate checks for submitting for per diem. The server said she was 'unable' to split it six ways, but could do four (??)"
"The restaurant is in a vibrant neighborhood with many options. It's very popular too, parking can be difficult. The restaurant is pretty big with two floors and has a nice vibe to it. It appeared to be the spot for celebrations, such as birthdays. The service was great with our server dropping by often to refill waters and get whatever we needed. The bread is so good, one of the best I've ever had. It comes with olive oil dipping sauce with olives. The short rib gnocchi came out very hot and the sauce was really good. There was a generous amount of meet and the gnocchi was cooked well. For the quality of the food and service, you'd think it'll cost more."
"This was my first visit but will definitely not be my last. My friend selected it for my birthday lunch. I don’t even know where to start! Food was so tasty, service was friendly and top notch from the hostess to the wait staff and wait assistant. Highly recommend for a special occasion! You will feel special! Bravo Massimo Ristorante!"
"Amazing meal and service from the bar, the calamari was delicious. The squid ink pasta with lobster sauce, was really tasty. Also it has a ton of lobster meat to the dish, worth the money. Excited to come back and try the meatballs, they looked solid."
"Massimo is a fancy new school Italian restaurants. They have some of the better calamari in providence and the bread is great. The squid ink pasta was exceptional, and the chicken parm was good as well. We dined at 4:30 and our waitress was a little inattentive. This was disappointing because I’m sure we were her only table. However, the food and atmosphere were great"
