"My friend had a special last night. It was raviolis in a brown gravy w onions & sweet & hot Italian sausage. The word braised was in there. Mushrooms were in there too. Oh God. That should be in the menu at all times. We're still talking about it. I had a taste & I'm dying for it. Perfecto."

"We have been coming here for almost a year now. Finally time to leave a review. If you are a fan of Cheers, the TV series, then this is pretty close. Very friendly and inviting staff, especially John, the manager, and Shannon the bartender. They are genuinely nice with great personalities. Today the special was baby back ribs… at an Italian restaurant? Let me tell you… hands down the best fall off the bone ribs you can get. Martinis spot on and very well priced. Wine selections limited but reasonably priced. Food is well prepared and it has become our neighborhood favorite. Great portions, fair pricing, good tasting and best of all… nice people… thank you!!!"

"The co-reviewer and I have been talking about trying Sorrento’s for sometime and finally pulled the trigger. The restaurant is clean and comfortable in a basic setting. The service from John was very good but clearly they are facing staffing shortages like everyone else. The co-reviewers Manhattans were good and the soda gun cola here was okay. We had the Mozzarella Fritti to start and the Caprese Salad with grilled chicken and the Chicken Francaise for dinner. The portions were very large compared to most any restaurant serving these days and most everything was tasty. We definitely would consider coming back but it would have to be during a non rush hour time slot."

"Had a function with 10 people. They were very accommodating and had a great experience. Large menu, several nice specials, and solid service. Food came out timely hot and portion sizes were really big. Calamari was tender and mozzarella sticks were not greasy or chewy. Pasta, chicken and fish dishes all came out great."
