"Absolutely fantastic in every way! Very appreciative of the Chef coming out, as there was a mistake with my order, where he apologized personally. That alone speaks volumes. My wife, daughter, and I truly enjoyed the food, service, atmosphere which included a phenomenal guitarist, and just all around great vibes. Highly recommend coming here and we certainly will be returning!"
"Absolutely delightful restaurant and lounge in the heart of downtown Bellows Falls. Charming ambience, the staff are friendly and service is quick. The food is delicious and the drinks are divine. Hands down my favorite local restaurant, five stars, would recommend highly to anyone."
"This experience felt like an episode of Kitchen Nightmares. My potato wedges were just a boiled potato(pictured). My Chicken Picatta had tablespoons of liquid that I had to drain on a plate(pictured). Hell, even the noodles were just store bought. We also watched the owner take a swig from a wine bottle from behind the counter which was special. I do want to say James our waiter was great. He was friendly and professional and comped the boiled potato (pictured). Dont spend your money here. We want our $70 back."
"The ambiance here is beautiful, service was nice, however the food could use some work... especially at this price point. The bread on the caprese appetizer/ the appetizer as a whole is bland, bread tastes borderline stale. Brussels app was the best thing there. Fettuccine was fairly dry and just okay. Not much flavor. Tomato soup had big pieces of raw onion on top as a garnish, as a whole was not good. All together the food is lacking a depth of flavor, this place could be great and being a small town we really love to support our local businesses. Unfortunately this probably won't be a spot that we frequent. We hope the owner will take everything into consideration and would love to see this business flourish."
"This restaurant is under new ownership from what one of the staff told me. They are difinately a friendly staff here. Deck on the river is nice. On the food front: we didn't eat much but I can review what I did try. The homeade bread is not italian at all and was not very good. The fettuccini alfredo was good, but the chicken parm was not good at all. Breading was soft and gross, chicken was thick, not pounded, the sauce is kind of bland, and the pasta over cooked. Wonder if they even make the chicken parm there or if it comes out of a frozen bag. Alfredo was good, lots of garlic which I like. While you can't expect much in a small Bellows Falls town they can do better. The experience was nice and sitting on the deck looking at the river and mountains is also very nice - but you can do that with a picnic lunch of your own making at a nice park."
