"Woodcraft has high quality products. If you are doing serious woodwork then this is a place you need to visit. But expect to pay a high price. Some of the people seem to be technically knowledgeable. The best plan is to know what you want before visiting and don't settle for less. I can say on the long term, none of the tools I have bought in the past 10 years have broken. Only negative I can think of is, I wish they had access to used products such as lathes."

"I went to their Portsmouth, NH store last week, There were 3 employees,,, and no one in the store. The younger employee was very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. When I posed a question to one of the older guys hanging out at the register he told me to go to the book section if I wanted an answer.... essentially because he didn't want to bother and just wanted to brush me off. Ticked me off... he's lucky I was in a good mood.... I definitely got his number.... what a shame."

"This place is way understaffed so you are going to wait wait wait if you need anything other than checking out. Even that took 15 minutes because the line at the counter was 3 deep. Because its a tax-free store located within driving distance of 3 states it gets flooded by people like me buying big ticket items. It also has the usual Woodcraft groupies who are there for the chit-chat and are in no hurry to let go of the one or two expert staff members so the queue to actually talk to somebody is usually well beyond normal patience limits."

"Great stuff for beginners and advanced woodworkers. Definetly different sort than Homedepod. Hand tools, exotic woods, power tools, machines. Also they carry brands as Festool, Jet... Always $1-$2 more then other places. Every month or so sale on some tools. If you register, they'll mail it to you. Stuff helpful and knowledgeable, don't hesitate to ask them for opinion.
