"I drove from Maine to buy some 1x4x6 boards and the inexpensive common boards were in terrible, warped full of knots and chips so I passed on those. The select boards were a lot more $11.53 a board but if you buy 10 or more they are $9.80 so I bought 17 and would have purchased 20 more but what was left of the select boards was terrible. I check out and head to my truck and double check the bill and they charged me $11.53 not the $9.80 so I went in and was told there is no deal like that I have to buy 20 or more to get the deal, they then sent me to customer service and I was told the same thing by a very pleasant girl , so I returned it. I walked back to make sure I wasn't wrong and I wasn't, it was $9.80 after you buy 10. What an ordeal, I'm going to stick to Lowes!"

"Dogs! Dogs Dogs! I’m walking around in an already crowded store with a bad knee. But, now I have to dodge a 200 lb Great Dane who’s rich and inconsiderate owner allows to put its gallon of milk sized head where ever it wants. So I have to make a sudden dodge move to not hit this animal and my knee is five time worse now! ENOUGH WITH THE DAMN ANIMALS IN STORES! If you can make a ten minute trip into and out of a store without your support animal then find a human to go with you or don’t go. What about MY support? Funny how that never seems to be considered. You simple minded buffoons!"

"Newington/Portsmouth, needed assistance finding something and asked a service person if he worked in electrical, He replied "I can work in any department in this store". I just smiled and I heard myself telling people that at Lowe's. He took me right to the product I needed and I could tell from his conference he was an assistant to HD. Great job!!!!!!"

"Bought an ElKay sink from Portsmouth Home Depot, as it was the only store in my general area that carried the specific sink we wanted. Given some delays to my kitchen renovation, it was a couple of months before install, but the sink was stored untouched during that time and handled with care upon purchase (you don’t buy a $400 sink and toss it around carelessly) During install we noticed that one corner was raised above the countertop, looking as if it were dropped and the corner bent. Drove back to the store, exchanged for one of the two units they had remaining on day of install. Replacement was bent even worse to the point that part of the sink was almost an inch above the counter. Went back again, and exchanged for the last remaining unit. We noticed this sink was again bent on the corner, with a small bump on the side due to the metal bending. Not wanting to pay a plumber for another day that would have cost as much as the sink itself, we had no other choice than to “live with it” as they had no more units in stock and was the only store within 100 miles that had this sink in store DO NOT BUY A KITCHEN SINK HERE. Whoever is in charge of shipping and receiving deserves to be fired, as 3/3 sinks looked like they had been dropped off of a truck without a care in the world. Terrible experience, and only other options we would have had would have been to select a different sink (we spent A LOT of time choosing this one) or ordering a replacement that would have caused further delay and more cost in labor."
