They are still my first choice in hardware stores, but as a regular customer i appreciate that they have always gone beyond my expectations. Perhaps it was just an "low moral" day. I have those also. "These people are really nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. I love it here. To heck with the "no help, figure it out yourself" big box stores, like Home Depot. There is no difference in the prices of the things I bought here. They were the same as Home Depot. One item was actually cheaper HERE. Plus, the customer help is unparalleled. I will never go back to Home Depot for something that I can buy here. Just sayin'...."
"Has a lot of tools and decent selection. Small mom and pop shop. Great flashlight and hand-knife selection. What I would like to see, is a fishing section somewhere in the store. Being so close to the beach and all. Over all - nice/clean & friendly shopping experience."
