At some point, Abby could sense our situation and offered her assistance.She was a great help; she found the tile I described and also found the tile we were looking for to install on the shower floor. At her desk, she took all of my information, provided us with samples to take home, and explained the process should we decide to go forward with our project.Once I cleared our selections with our contractor, I reached out to Abby and gained information about the purchase process and our delivery options. The rest was easy. Abby communicated with me via email many times and responded to any questions that I had promptly and efficiently. I had been to a few tile stores in preparation for remodeling our bathroom, and I'd always been left to fend for myself at these stores, even with no knowledge of tiling. NOT SO at Best Tile in Dedham. The staff was incredibly helpful, taking the time to walk me through the store, offering detailed and specific recommendations based on my budget and needs. They even helped me carry samples to my car. Just unparalleled customer service, amazing selection, really a well run business."

"Not friendly, not particularly helpful. My experience with multiple staff people at Best Tile is that they aren't particularly friendly. I don't like a heavy sales, fake-friendly come-on, but I'm also turned off by the I-don't-really-care-about-you-as-a-customer approach either -- which seems to characterize the culture of this store. I've remodeled three homes - without a designer and with success (meaning I've sold two of the homes post-remodel with multiple offers) - and I can attest to the fact that the staff of this Best Tile store isn't design-savvy and can't speak articulately to aesthetics. Unfortunately, compared to Southern California where I am originally from, Boston doesn't seem to have many middling (vs. high end) solidly good Tile/Flooring stores, so you get what you get."
