Reviews of The Home Depot
"Old Marine here .. went to home Depot to buy a few electrical components came to around $475 ask the young lady at the register if there any discounts for seniors or veterans she said no to my amazement ... She asked if I had a home Depot card I said yes I saved $1.89 on $475 I was shocked I will never deal with home Depot again when I recommend to you folks don't either I go to Lowe's you get the Senior citizens discount and you get the veterans discount deservingly so . Lowe's I find now has the same products same prices but you get those discounts shame on home Depot lost my family and my friends ."
"Everything you need for your construction site on home"
"If I could give this place 0 stars I would. This Home Depot is always understaffed, the managers clearly have no regards to their customers and you can tell they just come here to make sure their paycheck is cut every two weeks. You lose a whole day waiting in the customer service line."
"i only ever go here if the quincy store at quincy adams doesn't carry the item. and only if i will be driving past it because half the time they wont have something in stock when it says the have 12 of whatever im looking for because some employee just threw a random item into the empty spot on the shelf so it wouldn't show up on their report again cause they can't be bothered to look for it. always call to ask if its there, if they say yes you need to ALWAYS ask them if they can/are physically touch it at that very moment, otherwise it won't be there. i also like how the cashier job has evolved to just watching customers scan their items themselves whilst doing nothing"
"BUCKLE UP BUCKO I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with what can only be described as the worst customer service I've ever encountered at Home Depot. From the moment I walked through the doors, it was clear that the staff were more interested in avoiding customers than assisting them. I approached an employee who seemed to be busy chatting with a coworker, and when I finally managed to get their attention, they acted as though I was a burden. Instead of providing helpful information, they gave vague, unhelpful answers and seemed completely disinterested in my questions. But the real nightmare began at the checkout counter. The cashier was not only slow but also incredibly rude. They rolled their eyes when I asked a question about my purchase, slammed my items around as they scanned them, and seemed to take pleasure in making the entire transaction as unpleasant as possible. To make matters worse, when I asked to speak to a manager to address these issues, I was met with indifference. It was as if they were accustomed to complaints and had no intention of addressing them. I almost lost my nerve. It was literally everywhere I turned.... how is this store still Standing! Home Depot used to be a go-to store for me, but after this horrendous!!! experience, I will think twice before ever setting foot in one of their stores again. It's clear that customer service is not a priority for them, and it's a shame that they've let their standards sink so low. Avoid this place if you value your time, money, and sanity."
