"We were looking for the stone veneer about 2 weeks ago and came across The Stone Yard in Salem, New Hampshire. Matt at the yard was very friendly, courteous and knowledgeable about their products. The prices were unbeatable. Not that price is everything because it's not but the way Matt took care of us the swayed us to purchase from them. "Just stopped in and explained I was not familiar with a certain type of stone. The guy behind counter just showed me on a monitor where to go look out in the yard. When I found what I thought I was supposed to look at I couldn’t tell what the differences were with the option pointed out. Not busy, but I guess I would have thought the guy might walk me through it. I’m about to do a 50k project and the guy was ordering his lunch and visiting with a friend who pulled up. How can I buy from here? I just drove 40 min to learn about the different types of stone. I would go in and ask for more help but I don’t want to interrupt his lunch. Maybe this place is for experienced contractors only?"
