"Rocky’s has been my go-to hardware store for years — prices can be a little higher but I like to support locally owned businesses. That changed today. Despite a 90 day return policy on their website that doesn’t exempt Christmas lights, the store refused to accept several boxes of unopened lights for return. The manager cited an Ace policy that is not mentioned on the Rocky’s website. I understand why a store wouldn’t accept holiday item returns. However, if the published return policy accurately reflected this restriction, I may have made a different purchasing decision. Moving forward, I will stick to shops that are more straightforward about, and accountable to, their return policies."
