"We rented "Your Own B&B" to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday with our family and friends. There were about twenty of us over a three day weekend and the place was perfect for us! This group has come together in other locations and this was the most comfortable, especially with each room having its own bathroom. As it was winter, we weren't able to take advantage of the swimming pool or volleyball net, but having everything on one floor (kitchen, dining area, play area and two living room spaces) allowed everyone to flow in and out of different spaces visiting with one another without ever feeling too removed from activities. The hot tub was also a plus for the colder weather. Booking with Brett was a very positive experience and he took time to walk me through several of his properties to figure out which was best suited for our group. We'd love to come back at some point in the future!"

"We rented 4 Seasons Getaways “Your Own B&B” property in Stephentown NY for my best friend's bachelor party. There were twenty people in the group, and it was perfect for us! We all had our own bed, and only had to share a bathroom with one other person. The property had plenty of yard space for us to set up multiple yard games, while others swam in the pool or played volleyball on the court. There was something for everyone to do! The property was exactly as described and shown in photos, more space then you'll know what to do with. Although we spent most of our time at the house, there was a great mexican restaurant where we had dinner one night, nortre azul, and a few wonderful golf courses that we played (Donny Brook, Wahconnah, Waubeeka, and Taconic) all very close by. The best part of our weekend was Saturday night when we were able to comfortably sit 20 people at the table in the backyard for a group dinner and then move to the living room where we had enough couches and chairs to watch the UFC fights. Hard to imagine finding a better property and company to be able to host large gatherings. We will definitely book again for our next golf trip to try one of their other three properties. Brett and Mary were great!"

"We rented this place as a home base for our ultimate frisbee program's retreat. It was an economical choice for us - the room setup (most if not all rooms had their own bathroom), common space away from the rooms, a number of indoor and outdoor activities and spaces to meet, relax, and bond as a team was perfect for our group. Unfortunately the weather wasn't amazing so we didn't get to fully enjoy the outdoor amenities, but we did still get in some quality pool and hot tub time. The game room had enough space for all of us to hang out and have fun even in the inclement weather, and the washer and dryer were pretty clutch in helping us wash our wet and dirty clothes from the day's practice. One fond memory from our time there was meeting as a full program for the first time and really getting to know each other. I would recommend this rental company to friends and other teams or large groups looking for a nice getaway."

"Hello future renters, We rented Your Own B&B for vacation with our family & friends to celebrate my son’s high school graduation. The property listing description and pictures don’t do it justice. It’s even better than described. Our group of friends and family love to be outdoors, play yard games, and are quit a loud happy group. There were 30 of us there all week and not once could I hear anyone else in the house when I was in my room. There’s lots of privacy, yet lots of space to gather all together. Each morning and night we’d all sit in the dining room to eat. During the day, some would play games while others played outside or hung out at the pool. We also had a couple volleyball tournaments! There was something there for everyone! Ages ranged from 13 to 67. The fire pit area is huge and is a bit hidden – it’s down a path past the pool. We had a fire every night and for those that weren’t the fire type, they’d be having fun in the bar or in the game rooms. The kids loved swimming in the pool at night. Every part of this vacation turned into fond memories. We’re all still talking about it. We finally got to take a group photo of all of us there. It was so nice seeing my son so happy and getting to celebrate his graduation with those that he love most. It was the best vacation and celebration for my son! When we rented Your Own B&B, we were in a jam because the previous rental house that we had, cancelled on us last minute. We contact Brett with a last minute request - he called us right away and by noon the next day, everything was booked. Brett, Mandy and Mary were very responsive and helpful. "Our time at the B&B was terrific. This is our 35th annual family reunion and the last five years have been at this location. It is perfect for our family's needs. We are super foody and the kitchen is perfect when a dozen of us are preparing the feasts for 32. We fill three refrigerators, turn and burn on two large outdoor grills, sauté like mad on the 6 burner stove and clean up in a jiff with the two dishwashers. Then out to the bonfire for s'mores until we're ready to burst. Days are filled with hiking, pumpkin and apple picking and horseback riding all close by. Brett and Mandi are a pleasure to deal with. So so much fun. And the best part is we'll do it again next year."
