"Lazy groomer and helper. And cashier snuck in a $5 donation without asking."

"Came in for a walk in service and was told that the groomers had already left for the day. I arrived at 4:10, and according to the website, they are open until 6pm. The sale sales associate told us that the groomers only work until 5. A groomer magically appeared while we were leaving and we were told that they could not do a nail trim. Aside from the abismal service, the store was a hot mess."

"Washing your own dog is $20 per dog. One of 3 tub stations was out of order, the other two had “delayed” shampoo systems, which made it seem like they also just didn’t work since there was no way for the customer to know this. At one point they had to stop selling dog washes because they ran out of towels (this was in the early afternoon). Overall there was plenty of staff, but they seemed sooo flustered that when the customer ahead of me pulled a shampoo from the shelf since the washer wasn’t working and used that, they termed this old man out!! (Not condoning taking the shampoo, but maybe if you had one of the 10 people stationed there to calmly direct it would not have been an issue.) They then told this gentleman he had to pay for the shampoo (in addition to the $40 he already spent on two dog washes), but he said if your system isn’t working that’s on you I’ll pay for one or the other. They bad mouthed him and the rest of the customers who couldn’t figure out why the shampoo wasn’t working, calling us impatient and rude for the next 20 minutes. Just overall lacking professionalism and patience on their end when people are taking their often oversized dogs to get a bath."

"I bring my Yorkie-Poos, Simi & Reese, to groomer Sheryl. They had 3 prior very poor experiences with other groomers when they were 7 months old. I brought them to both private and commercial groomers. But then I brought them to Sheryl. She gave the pups and I all the time we needed for our first interview. We settled right in with her. I think she's a dog whisperer! To this day, 2 years later, she tends to all their grooming needs. I want a different length cut for them seasonally and they're perfect each time. The products she uses keep their skin and coats real shiny and healthy.They let her trim their face, paws, tails and nails fearlessly. She listens to what I want and reacts to their moods. She's amazing! They go from calm to jumping in the car with excitement when were near Petco! They love her and so do I!"

"Sheryl is awesome. A very kind lady who knows what she’s doing! Besides giving the dog a gorgeous haircut, she notices and advises us on how to take care of our dog. THANK YOU, Sheryl, and all the other groomers as well. I love them all!! My dog feels like a queen when she goes to Petco, all the workers say hi to her! A happy place!"
