"EDIT: ***Andrew sued me for $8,000 because of my 2 star review (below), saying he’d drop the suit if I gave him 5 stars so I’m changing my rating from 2 stars to 1*** I wish I could give more stars since Juliana and Andrew were very pleasant to talk with and got the job done quickly, but unfortunately the installation and fabrication work was not well done. The counter slab was installed crooked and without the overhang I requested, the fiberglass mesh was left on the underside of the seating area, the outlet cutouts (which I was charged an extra $75/outlet for) were installed with uneven broken pieces, one section of the slab was installed with a large crack, there are huge sections where the slabs weren’t sealed, the stone was cut indoors which got stone dust everywhere, and there was glue residue left all over the stone. When I reached out to them about these issues, they were very quick to respond and said they would be out asap to try to remedy them but then Andrew showed up without notice almost 2 hours earlier than the agreed upon time so my contractor wasn’t available and then gave me explanations for these issues that didn’t make sense. He said the cracked slab was “just a fissure” but it’s a visible crack that I can feel and runs all the way across/through the piece, and said the crooked outlet holes didn’t matter because I could buy specialty plates that would cover them. Lastly, he told me I should be appreciative of the fact that he gave me a great price for the stone but that doesn’t make up for poor craftsmanship and the hassle here. He did remove the adhesive that was all over the counter, seal the seams he missed, and oiled the slab but overall I’m just left feeling frustrated with the issues I can’t remedy. There is no overhang on the cabinet side of the island so drawer hardware sticks out. I’m surprised and disappointed since all of the reviews were so great and initially I had great interactions with them. I guess if you’re looking to get a project done quickly and for less than other places in the area can offer this is an option but I’m not sure I would recommend this place if you’re looking for high quality work."
