"This is a nice lighthouse. I went here while visiting Massachusetts and was satisfied with my experience. This lighthouse is a tall, skinny white lighthouse located at the end of a suburban housing development. This lighthouse has an attached light keeper’s house, but it isn’t open to the public. There’s a rocky beach by here that you can throw rocks from, and there are several large boulders you can scramble on as well. I gave this lighthouse five stars because it has a nice beach."
"As of 2023, Scituate Light has been undergoing restoration to its lateen room. In early November they are finishing copper plating the structure and plan to Mount the light back onto the tower soon. It’s a nice spot to hang out, get a look at the sea. You can walk out to the end of the jetty in front of the light if you want some exercise."
"Unfortunately it is under construction and the top of the Lighthouse have been removed. So while you have access to the area and the jetties, you can access the Lighthouse or get a picture with the whole thing. The route there is clean, and walking around is perfect setting for pics. The small town is very nice to visit as well."
"If you’re looking to have rocky side views into the ocean, then this is the place to be. The lighthouse is small and cute. There are jetties you can walk out to as well. Parking: Plenty of parking can be found here as they have a lot with plenty of spaces."
"beautiful location. beautiful historical lighthouse. parking is easy in a lot right near the lighthouse. the house next to the lighthouse is private property but you can walk right down the path right up to the lighthouse! you can also walk on the jetty pretty far! while we were there we saw an incredible rainbow. highly recommend this spot for a great view."
