"We have been customers of Paws Rule for almost 20 years and always been happy with their service. Today that changed. Last June, we tried to have our dogs groomed, made an appointment and then got a call canceling it because there was work being done on the building. They promised to call back and reschedule when they could. Fast forward to October and still no call. My husband called in October and made an appointment for 3 weeks later. They knew we had tried to make a June appointment and apologized for not calling us again. Today was the big day, but when my husband and son took them in they were told they couldn’t take dogs on medication unless they knew what kind. We have always given them a prescription from the vet to help with their anxiety. My son ran home and got the prescription and when he brought it back they said it wasn’t on their list! And wouldn’t take our dogs! Our dogs are golden retrievers who are nervous and sweet. They have been groomed here a bunch of times. On their website they claim to take all dogs no matter how difficult, but this is how we were treated! No mention of needing to know the prescription and what or wasn’t approved when we made the appointment. If they didn’t want our business anymore couldn’t they have just told us this and not have put us through this experience! Completely unprofessional and not a company I would ever again recommend to anyone else! I’d give zero stars if I could!"
