"I’ve reviewed WoofLocal before but wanted to re-review since some time has passed. John and his team are the best. Caring and compassionate, and they really know and love my weird little doggie girl. John has been a hugely important part of my dog’s life since 2020, and has been a godsend for me with work travel and the return to office transition. My dog LOVES when John comes to pick her up for playgroup, and I know she is in the best hands when she stays with him for boarding. John is responsive and flexible, and I feel so fortunate so have found him and his company."

"John has been walking, boarding, and taking our yellow lab Ellie to playgroup for 3 years now and we would not trust her with anyone other then he and Shane. Woof Local is the best. We had been sending Ellie to a local brick and mortar doggy day care/walking company and were not happy with care she was getting or the value we were receiving. She was not going to the park with them when we would send her and she was not tried when she would come home. John and Shane and Woof Local have been a complete 180, they are so caring and so dedicated to every dog. Ellie is leaping off the leash out of excitement when they pull up, we get pictures, and updates when she is at the the park, they are prompt with pick-up and communicative about drop-off. John has boarded Ellie at his house and it is like she is part of his family, playing with his daughters and joining them in their day to day activities. We trust Woof Local completely and am grateful every time Ellie gets to go out with them - we know Ellie is too, she comes home tail wagging, tired! We highly recommend and can not say enough good things about Woof Local."

"John is an absolute life saver! I've had my dog Luna going to him since she was about 3-4 months old & he's one of her favorite people. He's extremely reliable and always updates us with pictures & texts as to how Luna was interacting during her walks and play groups. It's very relieving to know someone else is caring for your dog as well as you would. As long as I live in this area - Luna will be a part of the Woof Local community! We love Woof Local & so will you!!!"

"I cannot say enough great things about John and Woof Local! Trusting your dog with someone when you go away on vacation is not easy. From our first meet and greet (about 2 years ago), I knew John would be that person I could leave Oscar with, without a worry. John goes above and beyond any dog sitter. Every day I receive pictures and videos of Oscar with all his buddies at the park, on walks, and cuddling at their home. John is extremely safe with the pups and always makes sure to put their correct harness on, coats if it's chilly, and only takes them to secure fenced in dog parks or leashed walks. He listens to your dog's care instructions and really does follow them. When I went to pick up Oscar, he even remembered which toy, amongst about 30, was Oscar's. John is super accommodating when it comes to pick up and drop off times. Best dog sitter/walker in the city!"
