"I was verbally attacked by the two owners of this business because I accidentally parked in the wrong spot in the Brassworks parking lot. They screamed obscenities, called me awful names, and threatened me even though the parking spot was not marked as theirs and I am a Brassworks tenant. I did move my car for them within 5 minutes but their aggressive behavior was unprofessional, unnecessary, and frankly, traumatizing. It is difficult for me to understand what people are trying to communicate when they are screaming, swearing, and bullying."
"We’ve had several great experiences for day care and over night stays, our pup goes in excitedly for drop off and comes out in good spirits during pick up"
"No other place I would take my dogs. We have had the best experience with the staff and owners of Lil Dog Lodge. They make you feel like family is taking care of your fur babies and whenever we need them they are there for us!! They provide boarding and amazing snuggle time with your fur babies. Be sure to check out this wonderful and super friendly small business."
"My puppy goes wild for Lil Dog Lodge. Here is a photo of him eager to be put down by my son to run to the door. He absolutely loves to go and is so excited when I pick him up. He even protested to leave once, sitting at the door step. The owner (Rae?) talked to me for a good 20 minutes, sharing her expertise. I’m grateful for this home away from home, and the price is reasonable ($15 for 3 hours, $38 or maybe less for 24 hours.)."
"I have two precious dogs. My girlfriend and I look for pups others may not take and that comes with some behavioral issues due to neglect and abuse. One of which has separation anxiety like I’ve never seen. I’ve tried training and medications and all have failed. He is destructive when left alone and will rip up the walls. I’ve been reliant on a daycare facility for the last 6-7 years and had the privilege of working for one. My usual facility has shut down due to the virus. I have to work from home and my pups are used to being at the other daycare facility and draining their energy there. It is pretty hard to sit down and work from home when you have two dogs with separation anxiety with a ton of energy. The lodge has been a god send. I called last Friday and the lady I spoke to (I believe the owner) was very friendly and made it very easy for me to get everything set (vet records, intake form) so my pups could have their first day today. She answered all my questions and having worked at a similar facility, I had a bunch. I went in this morning and was greeted by someone who genuinely looked like she loved her job and was excited to see my dogs. She was very friendly with them. My newer dog is a very sad neglect case and has problems with new people. The lady today took it slow and I was amazed Joy didn’t bark at her. Upon pick up I was informed on how my pups did. They didn’t even want to leave at first. I had to call them from the lobby. Both came out wit tails waging and smiles on their faces. They have been exhausted since returning home. I would highly suggest using these guys in you are in the hill towns. I will continued to bring my pups until my other facility is open and use them as a backup or if I don’t wanna make the 45 minute drive to the other one. The other facility is on my way home from work anyways and they let me keep my employee discount. Being a college student that’s helpful. But if money wasn’t part of the equation, I would be just as comfortable leaving my pups at the lodge as I am with the facility I worked for and have been using for 5-6 years. These folks seem to really care about their guests."
