"Just came for my cousin’s bachelorette and received an outstanding massage from David. He’s an excellent therapist and super knowledgeable. The front desk staff was welcoming, kind, and extremely helpful. The facilities were stunning, only complaint would be that the locker room is quite small but not much you can do about that. Would absolutely recommend this place for a relaxing spa day!!"
"I had the Cliff Walk foot treatment. It was really great. David was my therapist and it was a relaxing treatment from start to finish. He was a good therapist and I can recommend him as an individual. Unfortunately cannot day the same about the spa and other staff members. I have a few criticisms. Firstly you have to book two treatments to get a robe and you don’t get shown or have use of any spa facilities. I would have if I had time so I felt a little robbed of the complete experience. Also he asked me what I wanted from the massage and I explained the pain I my left heel, he barely touched it and I am just putting it down to the treatment being done in a standard way and he didn’t adjust it. Overall worth it but it would be nice to see them treat all customers the same. The no robe or spa with your single treatment feels like a money grab. Finally I paid with my Marriott Bonvoy card ahead of the treatment and as suggested on their website I asked about the special members benefits and I was told there are none but that I should check my account after because I ‘might’ get some extra points. Super disappointing!"
"Absolutely a very nice spa. Definitely the facility needs a facelift. They have many treatment rooms. I come every year with 20 of my buddies and they always fit everybody in for a service. During spa month they offer services at $150. They have a hot jacuzzi / cold plunge / dry and wet sauna. The staff is super accommodating. Chris the locker room attendant is great."
"Go to the VIKING...Spa Fjor! Just had a massage at the Marriott over the past few weeks and have never been disappointed, but wow what a waste of money. I think the individual was new - staffing problems maybe and just hired someone with zero experience? I don't know. It was a costly mistake. Last week I went to the VIKING and it was night and day. They renovated, it was clean and bright and the massage was great."
"I received the best massage of my life, here, 10 years ago. I recently booked a one hour massage and head massage to treat myself after a stressful year and could not have been more disappointed. I expected a a lot more for a $200.00 massage. The therapist was obviously untrained. The massage was light and it felt like he was simply lightly rubbing in oil or lotion onto my skin. During the head massage, his hands did not move from one place to the next. I was laying there hoping things would improve, but never did. I feel robbed and saddened at this experience."
