"Besides a wonderful walk in an old growth forest (it was added to the Old-Growth Forest Network on October 6, 2023) around ponds with all sorts of wildlife, you never know what else you will encounter. Today it was fox and a hawk evidently hunting for something in a nearby log. (They went unrewarded.)"
"Beautiful walk around the lake, where the scenery differs from one side of the loops vs the other. Easy to walk, with some elevation to provide a nice view of the water. Oaks & Pines along the path. I recommend walking here away from the crowds"
"Amazing path in the sand dunes and forest interspersed with lily filled ponds. It was so quiet and a great escape after a night partying in town! It's really worth the short cycle from town."
"What a gem of a place! The trail was around a 1 mile loop and part of the province land trail. If you're an avid bird watcher you will love this place. There were so many birds on the initial bridge/boardwalk section. It was so peaceful and relaxing walking along the trail."
"One of my favorite places on Earth! A truly enjoyable slow walk through scrub pine forest, beach dunes, and lowland fresh water ponds."
