"Very cool place. Ticket price was 25$ each and it was cool for a snowy day. Pretty empty tho, we had lucky today lol"
""Battleship Cove is a nonprofit maritime museum and war memorial in Fall River, Massachusetts, United States. Featuring the world's largest collection of World War II naval vessels, it is home to the highly decorated battleship USS Massachusetts. It is located at the heart of the waterfront at the confluence of the Taunton River and Mount Hope Bay and lies partially beneath the Braga Bridge and adjacent to Fall River Heritage State Park." When we went it was an absolutely beautiful day and we were able to see a lot. The submarine Lionfish is closed due to emergency repairs. The Hiddensee has been towed away and scrapped also erased since our visit. Frankly whoever the Board or the director is needs to focus on the remaining ships including the PT boat hidden under tarps and not accept any new ships or perform any acquisition - other than a building for the hidden PT Boat."
"We stopped to look at the Cove with Battleships and a submarine anchored in the water. Beautiful, peaceful area and very scenic. There is a large picnic area near the water on the other side of a nice long boardwalk that allows you to explore the perimeter of the beach for quite some distance. There is also a cool gift shop. You can purchase tickets to explore the battleships more thoroughly although we dud bot have time to do that as we were just passing through. Definitely a must to see and explore if you are in the area."
"USS Massachusetts is part of Battleship Cove. The Cove has three ships and a submarine for tour. The sub is currently closed for renovations but the other ships are available to tour. Small gift shop on site, ample parking. $20/per, military and other discounts are available, bringing the price to $16. Highly recommend checking out these cool pieces of history!"
"Been coming here about every decade since the late seventies. It was me as a kid, then my kids and now the grandkids. While they have been trying their best, time is showing on all the ships and sub. But it is still a great time as the kids get a chance to see, experience and understand a time in history that was so important."
